At P8C we understand that all organisations are different, they operate in different markets, with different pressures, budgets, cultures and attitudes to risk etc. Often when companies are considering engaging an external company for help there can be a lack of clarity around objectives and outcomes. They understand there is a problem, but the exact extent of the challenge and the options for fixing it are not clear.
For this reason, we will always consider the most appropriate and cost-effective working practice for each individual client engagement. We are able to engage in any of the following ways to suit the client and the scope of the work:
Contract for Services
We can be engaged for clearly defined work on a contract basis, the duration of the contract is dependent on the scope of the work, but can range from a few weeks to multiple months. This ensures a client has access to our expertise when needed.
After some initial discussions and fact finding we will produce a quote for formal tender response explaining how we will address a particular piece of work, with the effort, duration and cost clearly stated. Once a client is happy this will be confirmed in a formal contract for our services.
Advisory
Similar to contract engagement and charged against a daily rate card, this type of engagement is most often utilised for short engagements where a client requires some guidance, or advice on particular issues.
Interim & Fixed Term
Often when establishing new or developing existing teams, an interim engagement is the best solution. This enables us to take ownership of a particular team or department to lead and work with the client’s internal people to develop and establish the services required.
At the earliest and most appropriate opportunity we will step back from leadership and enable the client’s own personnel to take ownership of the function with the full knowledge that they can access our guidance and support as necessary.
